Charles E. Foster

Charles Edward Foster, 58 years of age, was called home by the Lord on Friday June 6, 2014 at Akron City Hospital after a five month illness.  Charles, the first of six sons born to Roy Foster Sr and Alice Bryant, entered this world on August 3, 1955. Spending most of his life in Ravenna, Charles was the "greatest" handyman. His trade included everything from automobile repairs to interior and exterior painting of houses. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by his father Roy, his grandmother Inez "MamaNell" Golston, his uncle  William "Bill" Foster and his brother David Bryant, loved ones left to cherish his memory  include his mother Alice Bryant of Ravenna, his daughters Ashley Foster (fiancé Curtis  Ransom), Charlie Foster, Kimberly Foster and Lisa Foster all of Ravenna, three grandchildren, Kaleiah, Kaden and Kamiyha, his former wife and mother of his daughters, Christina Williams of Ravenna; his sisters, Lutricia (Robert) Nation and Inez Bryant, both of Ravenna; his brothers Jerry Bryant of Grafton, Roy (Carol) Foster of Kent, Terry (Lisa) Bryant of Copley, Ronnie Bryant and Bernard Foster, both of Marion, Milton Foster of Akron, special friend Deborah Marstiller of Akron, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service, will be announced. Services were entrusted to Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes, Ravenna Chapel.
