Charles H. Hively (Charlie boy) 52 of Suffield Township died Monday, March 6, 2017. He was born October 19, 1964 in Amma Ridge, WV to Charles and Edna Lena (Workman) Lafferty. Charles was a self employed roofing contractor all of his life, and as of late worked doing building maintenance. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was a member of UKC and PKC Coon Hunter Associations. Survivors include his wife Janet (Heeter), children Michael L. Dillon (Jessica) of Mogadore and Michelle M. Ford (Jerry) of Brimfield, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, mother-in-law Francis Heeter, brothers Glen and Clifford Hively both of WV, Sister-In-Law Cindy Wood (Nathan) of VA, Brother-in-laws Rusty Heeter (Debbie), Terry Heeter, Donald Heeter, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Terry Hively, brother-in-laws Charles Heeter Sr. and Joseph Heeter. A celebration of his life will be held at Sunny Hill Golf Course Club House, 3734 Sunnybrook Rd. Kent, OH on Saturday March 18, 2017 @ 2 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
