Charles R Jenkins

Charles R. Jenkins, 81, of Diamond, passed away Wednesday December 6, 2023 at the Country Club Nursing Home in Newton Falls, Ohio.  On January 1, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio, Charles was  born to the late Wayne and Florence (Snyder) Jenkins.  He has lived in Diamond since 1979 and retired from BF Goodrich where he worked as an electrician.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Bonnie, Mary, Wayne, Jr. and Bernie.  Survivors  include his wife Gloria J. (Wolverton) Jenkins whom he married June 20, 1962, his children Charles M. Jenkins, Catherine (Wayne) Robinson, his grandchildren Justin (Stephanie), Adam and Heather and  great-grandchildren Shiann, Carter, Karmin, Skyler.   Private Funeral services will be held at the West Cemetery Chapel in Palmyra Twp., Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Charles may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
