Charles Raymond Simpson

Charles Raymond Simpson, 81 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday July 18, 2023 at the Kent Health Care Center.  On May 8, 1942 he was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Carl and Waneta (Boord) Simpson.  He retired from Filmco in Aurora, Ohio after 40+ years of dedicated service.  Survivors include his wife Kathleen (Lipscomb) Simpson whom he married April 2, 1966,  his daughters, Ruth (Robert) Pittman, Sharon Simpson, his grandchildren Ryan, Robbie and Raymond Pittman, seven great grandchildren and siblings Richard Simpson, Dennis Simpson, Kay (Jerry) Kanode and Debbie (Sal) Travise.  To know him was to love him.  He  was one of a kind and would do anything for anyone.  Never spoke a harsh word to or about anyone.  In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life was held in his families home.
