Charles White

Charles "Charlie" White, 74, of Ravenna, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. He was born on February 2, 1938 in Maybeury, West Virginia to the late, Walter and Effie (Thore) White. Charlie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Doris White of Ravenna; children, Judy Tekien of Tampa, Florida, Brenda (William) Groom of Burton, Charles Alan White of Ravenna, and Jeanette (Ulysses) Moore of Bainbridge; five grandchildren, Denny, Dillon, Amanda, Michael, and Grant; one great-granddaughter, Giavanna; and a sister, Nita Bican of Macedonia. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary and Sandi; and his brothers, Leonard, William, and Herbie. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11AM until the 12PM funeral service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield
