Charlotte G (Jarvis) Herr

Charlotte G. Herr 76 of Shalersville, passed away Thursday Janaury 31, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born July 11, 1936 in Millpoint, WVA to the late Clyde and Mattie (Sharp) Jarvis.  Mrs. Herr has lived in Shalersville the past  16 years  and was formerlly of Mantua.  She had worked as amanger at Bank One in Ravenna and also  in patient care at the Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.  She was a former girl scout leader and enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and learning about her native american indian ancestory.  Survivors include her husband of 30 years Max Herr, her children Judy Stuart, Karen (Randy) Sharp, Sheri (Rick) Sanek, Ron (Gina) Stuart, Rick (Cindy) Stuart, her step children Terry (Joanne) Herr, Kyle Herr, Denny (Cathy) Herr,  19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Her  siblings Jacki Biggs, Francis Jarvism C. Lee Jarvis , Ralph Jarvis and many nieces and nephews also survive.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her  siblings  Harper, Jack and Hazel Jarvis.  Calling hours will be 4-8 PM Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services officiated by Pastor Ed Beck will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 7, 2013.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
