Cherie J. Cormican

Cherie J. Cormican 68 of Charlestown Twp. passed away Tuesday November 30, 2010 at her residence.  She was born November 6, 1942 in Miamitown, Ohio to Russell and Ivy (Bunnell) Cormican,  Cherie has been an employee for the Ravenna Post Office for 32 years and was a member of the High St. Christian Church in Akron.  Cherie always enjoyed the outdoors and her love of animals, especially horses, but most of all she cherished time with her family.  In addition to her mother Ivy Zix of Florida , survivors include her husband Gerald Wilson , son James Wilson of Columbus, daughters Karen (Scott) Luthy of North Canton , Christine Todaro, Sandra Hall both of Florida, Karen Olson , Deborah Hubble both of California, grandchildren Alex and Macie Moneypenny, Cameron Luthy, brother Russell Cormica of Florida, sisters Mary Martin of Columbus, Pamela LaRue of North Carolina , Elizabeth Kolheffer and Kimberly Hofstra both of Florida.  She was preceded in death by her father Russell Cormican.  Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral at 12:30 PM Saturday December 4, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Mary Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in Charlestown Twp. Cemetery.
