Cherie A. (Wilmoth) Long

Cherie A. Long 75 of Streetsboro died Sunday, January 1, 2012. She was born July 8, 1936 in Harrison County, WV to James and Beulah (Williams) Wilmoth. Mrs. Long has resided in Streetsboro for 46 years and is formerly of Cleveland and West Virginia. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Hobart "Ray" Long, Sr., daughter Brenda (Brian) Roseberry of Streetsboro, sons Ray Long, Jr. of Rootstown and Jeff (Tammi) long of Streetsboro, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters Charlotte Martin of Kellytown, WV, Linda (Joe) Kose of Barrackville, WV and Rita (Bob) Jacobin of Kellytown, WV, brother James (Lois) Wilmoth of Rivesville, WV and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Betha Tarley and Viola Wilmoth. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Don Workman officiating. Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Faith Baptist Church, 9890 State Route 43, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
