Chester N. Leavengood

Chester N. "Chet" Leavengood 62 of Ravenna passed away at his home Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born June 1, 1950 in Ravenna to the late Gerald W. and Ruth J. (Ketzell) Leavengood.  Chet worked in customer service at M.B.N.A . in Beachwood till he retired in 2005 He was a member of Cross Roads Community Church in Shalersville where he was an Usher.  He was an avid Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed the Beatles, and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Olin of Streetsboro, son, Dan Leavengood of Garrettsville, grandchildren, Joe Hardy of Boardman, Erika Olin, nieces Kristina and Shannon  Nissel of West Virginia. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Ann Nissel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 1, 2013 where Family and Friends may call from 9:00AM - 10:00AM prior to service at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel, 141 N. Meridian Street Ravenna, OH. 44266.  A Private Burial will be held at a later  date.
