Chris R. Watterson, 57, of Streetsboro, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Akron. He was born on December 19, 1953, in New Castle, PA to the late John and Jessie (Glenn) Watterson. Chris attended Park Side Church in Bainbridge and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army . He is survived by his daughter, Venus (Todd) Hoffman of Columbus; grandson, Logan Hoffman; step-mother, Rosemary Watterson of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Gregg Watterson of Philadelphia, PA. The family would like to thank his many friends for their support, and a special Thank You to Jim's Open Kitchen for opening their doors after the services. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12-2 & 4PM until the 6PM service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel. Interment will be private.
