Clara Marie (Grudosky) Lejsek

April 20, 1915 — April 15, 2012

Clara Marie Lejsek  a lifelong resident of Ravenna went home to be with her family and friends, in the presence of the Lord, Sunday, April 15, 2012 just short of her 97th birthday at the Emeritus in Ravenna. She was born April 20, 1915 in Edinburg, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary Ann (Tykarsky) Grudosky.  Mrs. Lejsek had worked at the Die house , Cleveland Woolen Mills ,Pyramid Rubber and retired from Evenflo in Ravenna where she worked as a quality control inspector fro 40 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. Survivors include her daughters Cynthia (Don) Trocchio of Ravenna , Crescentia (August) Elsener of Prairie Village, Kansas, her grandchildren , Lisa, Lori, Leslie, Liane, Clinton, Lauren and seven great grandchildren, with her life long love of cooking and feeding her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Joseph Lejsek on February 17, 1974, brothers Walter, Alphonse, Victor Grudosky and her sisters Sally and Martha Grudosky, Connegonda McCoy and Wanda Harbok. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 19, 2012 at St. Peter of the Fields Church in Rootstown with Father Leo Wehrlin officiating. Burial will follow services in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio. The family requests memorials to the Hospice of Western Reserve or Catholic Charities.
