Clarence Ray "Butch" Cobb

Clarence R. "Butch" Cobb, 76 of Kent, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. Butch was born on February 14, 1948 in Ravenna to his late parents Norman L. and Ruth G. (Abel) Cobb. He had worked with the road crew for Franklin Township in Kent, was a member of the Ravenna Moose 1234, Ravenna VFW #1055, and the Kent American Legion #496. Butch was a proud service member of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie Cobb whom passed on March 8, 2023, and his brother Michael A. Cobb. Butch is survived by his siblings Hoby Eugene Cobb, Icie Lynn Cobb and Sue Poland, and his nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Moose services at 6:45PM. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Friday, December 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
