Clarence E. Harper 68 of Shalersville died Friday, December 2, 2011. He was born October 14, 1943 in Beckley, WV to Herbert and Hazel (Brown) Harper. Mr. Harper was a US Army veteran and worked as a machinist for Airco Company. Survivors include his wife Kathleen A. (Kuchta) Harper, daughter Mitzi Stalnaker of Katy, TX, stepdaughters Kim Bradley of Jefferson, OH and Rita Holliday of Garrettsville, son Tracy Harper of Streetsboro, stepsons Eddie Spreitzer of Streetsboro, Scott Nealen of Hickory, NC and Rick Nealen of NC, 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sisters Charlotte Fleming of Bedford and Connie Petro of Cleveland and a brother Robert Harper of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Carol Couser and a brother Donald Harper. Calling hours will be from 4 - 8 PM Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. The family request memorials to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
