Clayton A. Lovelace, 83, of  Ravenna, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Maison Aine. He was born on September 10, 1928 in Central Kentucky to the late Dewey and Nora (Coomer) Lovelace.  Clayton was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Ravenna Free Will Baptist Church and a Past member of the Rockton Lodge #316. Clayton enjoyed visiting many baptist churches. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Frances (Cole) Claburn-Lovelace of Ravenna; son, James (Jackie) Lovelace of Kent; step-son, Arnold (Janet) Claburn of Ravenna; step daughters, Marcia (Chris) Tibbs of Paris Twp. and Joye (Gary) Lalone of Columbus, Michigan;  11 grandchildren, Thomas, Tyler, Lee, Lambranee`, Jay, Pete, Mary Jo, Denver, Tim, Richard, and Derek; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Lovelace of Michigan; and brother, Billy Lovelace of Michigan. In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Chadwick) Lovelace; sisters, Margaret and Ethel; and brother, Wendell. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2PM until the 3PM service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, with Pastor Keith Farmer officiating. Interment will take place in the Lovelace Cemetery in Kentucky.
