Cletus R. Neal

Cletus R. Neal 91 of Rootstown passed away of failing health Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. He was born October 16, 1928 in Bluefield, WV to Carl  and Vada (Dooley) Neal. Cletus was a machinist for 41 years at Ametek in Kent and a member of I.A.M. Union Local 1203. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in the Lamb Electric golf league. Survivors include his wife Corinne Neal, son Stephen Neal, grandchildren Sarah and Jessica Neal of California, stepchildren Cindy (Rick) Hubbard, Jennifer Ward and Matt Ward. Grandchildren Keri Roosa, Kyle McDaniel, Joline (Joe) Gadoua, Kaleb Renner, and great grandchildren Dakota, Kiley, Derek, Danika, Deagan and Collin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Rosa, stepchildren Linda Renner and John M. Ward and siblings Emery, Ernest, Roy, Calvin, Ralph, Jamie, Ruby and Frances. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the chapel at Grandview Memorial Park with Reverend Ron Lanham officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Rootstown Fire Department EMT's. Revelations 21:4. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
