Coleman H. Waite

"Together Again" Coleman H. Waite 93 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday 7:30PM, April 11, 2026 at his residence. He was born December 28, 1932 in Erie, PA to Henry C. and Adele (Kelly) Waite. He graduated from Academy High School in Erie, and then Fenn College in Cleveland. He was married to his wife Shirley for 71 years until her passing in 2024. He also lived in his home for 68 years until his passing. Coleman served in the Naval Reserves on submarines, had attended St. Thomas Lutheran Church, and he attended Alliance church in Mantua, Ohio. He was involved in the Hudson Genealogy Group, the Akron Canton PC Users Club, and he was very active in Streetsboro's Singletary House. Survivors include his children Joan (Daryl) Lantzer, Jeanette Waite, Carol Kidgel, Jeffrey (Tammy) Waite and Joel Waite, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a sister Sylvia Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley and a daughter Janice (Joseph) Tarnowski. Cremation has taken place. Private family services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
