Connie Sue (Reed) Kitts

Connie Sue Kitts 71 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. She was born December 25, 1949 in Ravenna to Ronald W. and Helen (Valarinos) Reed. Connie was a member of the Ravenna First Church of the Nazarene and worked in medical billing for Compudata. Connie loved spending time with her friends and family vacationing on cruises.  She loved teaching ceramics and crocheting, especially blankets for all of her "grandbabies". Survivors include her husband of 54 years Danny B. Kitts, children Angela (Brian) Marie Burkhardt and Douglas (LeAnne) B. Kitts, Craig (Kristine) M. Kitts, Jr. 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and siblings Bonnie Matulka, Ronald Reed, Jr., Timothy Wayne Reed and Harold B. Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Craig Michael Kitts. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend Tracy Ogden Johnson officiating. Cremation will follow the service with her final resting place to be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
