Corinne F. Long, 83, of Ravenna, OH, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital  surrounded by her family. She was born on August 15, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Rudolph and Rosalia Yeschke.  As a member of the Ravenna community, she was employed at Rotek, Inc. Later, she worked for the Ravenna City Schools, as a secretary at all levels, elementary through high school. Corinne was very involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren, attending various activities and many sporting events. She was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Corinne is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, James E. Long of Ravenna; children Kenneth (Nancy) of Kent,  James (Lisa) of Hilliard,  Corinne (Corky) of Ravenna, Donald (Rebecca) of Randolph, Robert (Tammy) of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Timothy (Patti) of Kent; grandchildren Ethan, Christopher (Catie), Gina (Aaron) Fraker, Anthony, Jonathan (Stephanie), Nicole, Jeffrey, Emily, Marissa, Alexis, Brandon, Mason, Logan, and Carson; and great-grandchildren Trey and Adriana, all of whom she devoted her life to and loved very much. She was  preceded in death by her brother Rudy Yeschke, and sisters Eleanor Marchwinski and Mary Ann Stevwing.  Calling hours are Monday, August 20, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. A funeral mass will follow on Tuesday August 21, 2012 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception  Church in Ravenna. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Lakewood Road, Ravenna. She was well-loved  and will be greatly missed.
