Dale B. Jones 88 of Ravenna died Tuesday, February 16, 2016. He was born March 1, 1927 in Sardis, Ohio to Fred W. and Eva Mae "Kate" (Hayes) Jones. Mr. Jones proudly served his country in the US Army in WWII. He retired from Lamson and Sessions in Kent where he was a parts packer. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Norma L. (Rufener), sons Gary (Judy) Jones of Ravenna, Curtis (Linda) Jones of Rootstown and Mark (Kathy) Jones of Green, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister Dolores Romick of Sardis, Ohio and brother Donald Jones of Clarington, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Michelle Jones, sisters Alberta Lohri, Dorothy Friden and Betty Howell and brothers Harris, Harold, Wilbur "Cub" and Darrell Jones. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the funeral home with Reverend Terry Smith and Reverend Aaron Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
