Dallas E. Simmons

Dallas E. Simmons 76 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1945 in Caples, WV to Clifford and Virginia (Hamilton) Simmons. Dallas was an electrician for the Illuminating Company and had worked in security and law enforcement. Survivors include his wife of 52 years Laraine (Maimone), children Cynthia Simmons and Michael (Carrie) Simmons, grandchildren Brenden and Trent Simmons and siblings Mae (Thomas) Wylie, Robert (Opal) Simmons, Ralph (Judy) Simmons and Willie (Sandy) Simmons. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings William Pete Simmons and Shirley Langford. At his request cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Streetsboro Fire Fighters Association, 9184 St. Rt. 43, Streetsboro, OH 44241.
