Damian Ray Root 29 of Paris Township, formerly of Charlestown Township, died Sunday, May 16, 2010. He was born December 7, 1980 in Cuyahoga Falls to Gordon Michael and Valerie Jean (Lower) Root. Damian worked as a carpet installer for Rite Rug and Command Carpet. Suriviors include his parents Mike and Valerie Root of Paris, daughter Erin Rachael Root of Stow, brothers Travis and Thaddeus Root of Paris and grandparents Ben and Gladys Lower of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Anna Root. Calling hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Friday, May 21, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the funeral home with Reverend David Bittinger officiating. Burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown Township.
