Dan H. Smith

Dan H. Smith, 75 of Ravenna, passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was born February 22, 1949, in Portsmouth, OH to the late Harlen and Clara Smith. Dan worked as a fabricator at Saint Gobain with 43 years of service. Survivors include his loving wife Sharon Smith of 55 years of marriage, cherished daughter Angela Smith, and sister Nancy Shipley. Dan enjoyed woodworking and making stone-slate birdhouses to share with others. He also enjoyed car shows and showing his El Camino. Gardening was a favorite pastime. Following his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve for their care and support.
