Danea (Summers) Burkhammer

Danea Burkhammer 83 of Ravenna, formerly of Stow, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. She was born November 11, 1936 in Clarksburg, WV to the late John and Margorite (Slabaugh) Summers. Danea retired from Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg as a spot welder and had been the dog warden for the City of Stow. Survivors include her children Diana Tyson, William J. Nigh and Thomas J. Nigh, 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and stepchldren Mark Caruthers, Roger Caruthers and Patty Jo Tasker. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Burkhammer and long time companion Edward Caruthers. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Stow Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
