Daniel L. Desko

Daniel L. Desko 57, a lifelong Ravenna resident, died Monday, August 3, 2015. He was born August 21, 1957 in Ravenna to Arthur and Marjorie (Dean) Desko. Daniel was a member of the Ravenna American Legion #331 and had been a driver for Aurora Casket. Survivors include his sisters Donna (Rob) Dean of Ravenna and Darla (Chester) Barto of Seven Hills, brothers Dennis Desko, Donald Desko and Bob McKnight all of Norton, Dana Desko of Alabama and Rick Desko of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Doug and David Desko. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of service at 12 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Bob Burgess will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the family c/o Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
