Danny D. "Dan" West

Danny D. West, 66 of Ravenna formerly of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at University Hospitals of Ravenna. He was born on July 29, 1955 in Grundee, Virginia to the late George C. and Helen (Blankenship) West. Dan had worked as a machinist with ITT Lester Ind. in Bedford, Ohio for over 35 years. Along with his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his step-daughter Vicky Moore and step-grandson Gary Moore. Dan is survived by his children Michael West and Kathy (Joe) West-McElwee, step-children Donna Williams, Allen Toth and Sandra Germano, loving companion Janice Smith, siblings Bob West, Linda Goodrich, Merlie Kostura, Hester West and Betty Tiedman, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 10 nephews, 4 nieces and many great nephews and great nieces. Per his request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 3:00PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
