David Brearley

David Brearley, 46, of Ravenna passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born June 12, 1978 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Edward R. and Darlene (McKitrick) Brearley. David was a family man and loved having his entire family gather for holiday's and other special times such as BBQ's, Brown's Football, riding side-by-sides on trails, boating, and vacations. He loved his friends and considered them family. David loved driving his 1973 Nova and entering it in classic car events. He had an eye for memorable toys that should be collected and preserved which included but not limited to the entire line of toys and memorbilia from "Christmas Story" and visited the museum in Cleveland often. He medically retired from the job he loved at Don Joseph Toyota. Survivors include his wife- Virginia E. "Spring" Hensley, parents- Edward R. and Darlene (McKitrick) Brearley, brother- Eddie R. Brearley, children- Angelo Bargas, Marissa (Trent) Drayer, Bryent Barnett, David (Alexis) Brearley, Brandon (Madison) Brearley, Lillian Shaw, Trushel Gotshall, grandchildren- Kayson and Navy Drayer, and his dogs- Stella and Ruby. David loved his church and church family and was a faithful member. His calling hours will be held at his beloved church which is Ravenna First Church of the Nazarene from 3:00 PM until the time of Life Celebration service at 4:00 PM Sunday, October 27, 2024.
