He was born
December 5, 1943

Bessemer
,
Alabama
to David and Alice (Golston) Bryant.
Mr. Bryant has lived in
Ravenna
since 1953 and had retired from General Motors in Lordstown after 35 years of service where he worked as a coordinator.
He'll be remembered for his assertive yet loving personality and his willingness to help others.
He was an avid bowler and was known for his almost perfect bowling score of 299.
David attended the
New
Mount
Calvary
Baptist
Church
and the Ravenna Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include his wife Charity Sue (Long) Bryant whom he married August 9, 1980 , his mother Alice Bryant of Ravenna, his daughter Stephanie Bryant-Hickman of Akron,
grandchildren Amber, Karyn, Darryl Hickman all of Akron,
sisters Inez Bryant and Lutricia (Robert) Nation of Ravenna, brothers Jerry Bryant of Chillicothe, Charles Foster, Roy (Carol) Foster both of Kent, Terry Bryant, Milton Foster both of Akron, Ronnie Bryant of Marion, Bernard Foster of Ravenna, sister in law Irene (Larman) Singleton of Gassaway, WV, brothers in law Waldron (Paulette) Long of Gassaway, WV, Freddie (Marian) Long of Heaters, WV, Larry (Lulu) Long and Jerry (Brenda) Long of Chapel, WV and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father David, his grandmother Inez “MamaNell” Golston and stepfather Roy Foster. Calling hours will be held TONIGHT

Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery
