David A. Desko

David A. Desko 55 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday February 15, 2015 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was born August 28, 1959 in Ravenna  to the late Arthur and Marjorie (Dean) Desko.    Mr. Desko has lived in Streetsboro the past 10 years and was a retired police  officer from the Brimfield Police Department after he worked for the  Portage County Sherriff's office and as a security guard at NEOUCOM.  He was a very passionate hunter and fisherman.  Survivors include his children Davonna (Michael) Prikryl of Rootstown, Ashley (Adam) Krasneski of Kentucky, Elizabeth Desko of Kentucky, Abbey Desko of Cuyahoga Falls, Zack Desko of Cuyahoga Falls, his  grandchildren Michael and Kaylynn, his sisters Donna Dean of Ravenna, Darla Barto of Seven Hills and his brothers  Daniel of Ravenna, Dennis of Akron, Donald of Akron, Dana of Alabama and Rick of Cuyahoga Falls.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Douglass.  Calling  hours will be 5-8 Pm Thursday February 19, 2015  and on Friday February 20, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services  at 12 Noon at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Rev. Bob Burgess will be officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
