David R. "Rick" Hargett

David R. "Rick" Hargett, 61, passed away Wednesday August 12, 2026 at the Arbors at Minerva. On March 6, 1965, Rick was born in Ravenna, Ohio to Richard C. and Mona Rae (Kehres) Hargett. He has lived in Minerva the past 3 and 1/2 years and was formerly from Edinburg. He served on the Edinburg Fire Department for 26 years and was a Lieutenant for several of those years. Survivors include his wife of almost 40 years Alice L. (Curtis) Hargett whom he married August 30, 1986, his mother Mona Rae Hargett and sister Diane R. Hargett-Austin. He was preceded in death by his father Richard. In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
