David D. Harmon 75 of Ravenna passed away Sunday April 26, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born March 18, 1940 in Graysville, Ohio to the late James Glenn and Murl Lena (Williams) Harmon. Mr. Harmon has lived in Ravenna the past 23 years and was formerly of Mantua. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg, Ohio and had attended the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna. He was very passionate about hunting. Survivors include his wife Sharon (Thorne) Harmon whom he married December 17, 1988, his children Graham (Grace) Harmon of Mantua, Jon (Terri Cohen) Harmon of Mantua, Joel (Devery) Harmon of Suffolk, VA ., his step children Sheryl (Jerry) Gordon of Indiana, Lauri Boettler of Ravenna, Terri Rousselo of Michigan and Jeffrey (Kara) Brown of Michigan, 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, his siblings John (Norma) Harmon and Patricia Cline. Calling hours will be Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Graveside services with burial will be 1:00 PM Thursday April 30, 2015 at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio with Rev. Stephen Sparling officiating.
