David H. Koenig

David H. Koenig 68 of Bedford, passed away Monday December 19, 2011 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts., Ohio.  He was born January 4, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Eugene "Pops" and Rita (Fertal) Koenig.  He has lived in Bedford since 1987 and retired from Rockwell in Euclid where he worked as an electrician.  He is survived by his daughters Juli (Joseph) Fretter of Cape Coral, Florida, Cris Illner of Mantua, grandchildren Sarah, David, Emily and Harry. Survivors also include his brother Gary Koenig of Silver Thorne, Colorado and sister Kathleen Panek of Windsor, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Tiny, Ricky and Larry.  Calling hours will be Thursday December 22, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel from 5 PM until time of funeral services at 7:30 PM with Rev.
