David Alan Lark 46 of North Benton, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 11, 2016 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. He was born in Ravenna on October 2, 1970 to William Lark and Sandra (Woolard) Johnson. Dave was a custodian for Kent City Schools and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking. He proudly served his country in US Army from 1995 to 1999. He is a loving father to Christina of Las Vegas, a loving son to William Lark of Ravenna, Sandra (Mike) Johnson of Las Vegas, a beloved brother to Bill of Rootstown, Doug (Denise) of Warren, uncle to Sandra, Crystal, Sami, Josh and Dougie, and nephew to Jim (Jane) Woolard, Robert (Rosemary) Woolard and is also survived by his pet dog Herbie. Dave has requested that all who attends his services to please wear Ohio State Buckeye gear. Calling hours will be 2-4 Pm Sunday October 16, 2016 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 12 Noon on Monday October 17, 2016 with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating. Burial will follow the services in Hawley Cemetery Paris Twp., Ohio with Military Honors.
