David L. Searfoss

David L. Searfoss, 80 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the UH Cleveland, after suffering complications from open heart surgery. David was born on September 15, 1942 in Lima, Ohio to the late Paul and Carolyn Searfoss. He was a 1964 graduate from the Ohio State University majoring in Business Administration and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, was the General Sales Manager for several radio stations in the Akron and Toledo markets, and owner of Gold 101 radio station in Clyde, Ohio, retiring in 2009, and was a member of the Streetsboro United Methodist Church, having served on several Church committees. David's pleasures in life included being with his family, working in his yard, daily walks around Cowan Lake, observing the humming birds that returned every season to drink his special syrup, travel and rooting for his beloved Buckeyes. David is survived by his wife of 47 years Jacquelyn M. Searfoss, his children Kimberly (Donald) Hilt and Amy Rodriguez, his grandchildren Jessica DeWalt, Kelsey Shoemaker, Caitlin Wilson, Matthew Rodriguez and Connor Rodriguez, 4 great grandchildren, and his siblings Barbara Edmiston and Gaye Cline. Per Dave's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be Sunday November 20, 2022 from 3:00 PM until time of Memorial Services at 4:00 PM at the Streetsboro United Methodist Church  8940 St Rt 43 Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 with Pastor Sue Ritts officiating.
