David G. Young

David G. Young 55 of Ravenna died Thursday, August 11, 2011. He was born February 18, 1956 in Ravenna to Edgar J. and Dorothy (Gibson) Young. David was formerly of Randolph, has lived in Ravenna since 1995 and worked at Portage Industries. Survivors include his father Edgar of Randolph, sister Marcia (Kenneth) Oeffner of Clinton and brother Mark E. (Debbie) Young of Uniontown. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Young in 2002. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of services at 12 PM Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Tom Badanjek will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Paths to Independence, 161 E. Main Street, Ravenna, OH 44266.
