Debbra Lee (Behner) Sabo

Debbra Lee Sabo, 67, of Ravenna passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 6, 1957, in Ravenna, Ohio, to Herbert Milford Behner and Ruby Lee Watson Saye. Debbra was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had been the office manager for New Hope Thermal Imaging.  She was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved others deeply and will be missed by family and friends too numerous to mention.  Debbie’s ministry for the Lord was sharing her gift of compassion and concern by reaching out to others and offering heartfelt words of encouragement; oftentimes to those that she did not know personally but had learned through another that someone needed uplifting. Survivors include her devoted husband, Daniel Sabo; mother, Ruby Lee (Roy) Saye; children Erica (Joe) Whittaker, Ambur (Shane) Scales, Danny (Catie) Sabo, and Karen (Trevor) Cansler; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings Herb Behner, Synthia (Ted) Suzelis, and Jeanne (Eddie) Wilson; and many cherished nieces and nephews.  Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Behner, Sr. When asked what was most important to her, Debbie would say, “My walk with the Lord.”  She wanted everyone to know of the salvation of the Lord and she would want everyone to trust in Him today. Calling hours will be from 5 - 7 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor David Ballert officiating.
