Deborah A. Boor, 61 of Windham died Wednesday May 6, 2015 at her home. She was born July 28, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio to Kenneth and Elsie Mae (Dodson) Deacon. Deborah had worked as supervisor for Four Season Industries in Garrettsville, was a member of the Windham American Legion Auxiliary, and was known for her amazing pumpkin rolls.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years Derek Boor, mother Elsie Mae Deacon, daughter Jennifer Flory of Indiana, son Raymond Hosterman of E. Liverpool, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Karen Honkonen of Ohio and Karen Beck of Florida, her Uncle Donald Dodson of Kent and her best friend Sue (Junior) Lambert.
A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian St., Ravenna, Ohio 44266 where a fund has been set up to help the family.
