Deborah E. Simms -McFarland, 63, of Ravenna passed away Thursday December 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 28, 1953 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late James and Geraldine (Ables) Simms, Sr. Deborah has lived in Ravenna the past 20 years and was formerly of Kent where she graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School. Survivors include her daughters Deanna Cook of Columbus, Christy L. Jordan of Kent, her loving companion of 20 years Robert McFarland, her grandchildren Ashley, Fawn, James, Jr., Marcus, Tamyra and siblings Linda Nutter of Aurora, Michelle Crystal of Ravenna, James Simms, Jr. of Kent and Robert Simms of Illinois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Rickey E. Simms. There will be no calling hours or services, at her request cremation has taken place.
