Debra "Debi" Williams Johnston

Debra E. "Debi" Williams Johnston. 72, of Tallmadge formerly of Ravenna, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Duncan, SC. She was born December 1, 1951, in Sandusky, Ohio to Norman and Donna Jean (Paige) Johnston. Debi had worked as a hairdresser for 50 years in the Ravenna area. She had retired to spend more time with her three girls MiShelle "Missy" (Mike) Robinson, Christina (Joe Brown) Williams, and Tiffany (Audrey) Williams, her grandchildren Austin and Avery Robinson, and her great-grandson Roman Robinson. She loved her family more than anything, enjoying vacations and family trips with them and also helping raise her grandchildren full-time. She is also survived by her brother Keith (Kelly) Johnston, her favorite sister Dawn Johnston, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews whom she never missed a chance to cheer on at events, listen and talk about their interests, and make sure they always knew they were welcome, safe, and loved with her. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending loyalty and support for her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Kelly R., her parents, and siblings Mark "Joe" Johnston, David "Tuzzy" Johnston, and Norman "Bookie" Johnston. Calling hours will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024, and from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Burial will follow in Edinburg Cemetery in Edinburg Township.
