Denise L. Gordon passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center. She was born in Euclid, Ohio on November 4, 1951 to the late Frank and Erna (Laedke) Schmaltz and has lived in Streetsboro for the past 36 years. Denise was the manager and co-owner of GC Products and was a master gardener with a love of flowers. She was also interested in and excelled at cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Adam Michael Gordon in 2012. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Gordon of Streetsboro, daughter-in-law Jayme Gordon of Streetsboro, grandchildren; Zachary, Alexander, and Jacob Gordon, and Gage Smith, 1 great –grandchild Brayden Smith and brothers; Dennis Schmaltz (Nancy) of Shrewsberry, NJ and Donald Schmaltz (Debby) of Orlando, FL.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:00PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home in Streetsboro with Rev. William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions the American Cancer Society
