Denise L. (Lamp) Morehead

Denise L. Morehead 51 of Windham, formerly of Kent, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born August 14, 1963 in Beaver, PA to Lester James Sr and Harriet Diann (Boren) Lamp. Denise worked as a food service coordinator for Kent City Schools. She leaves behind her loving children Katie (Keith) Swearingen, Shannon (Ryan) Ely, DJ Morehead and Ryan Morehead all of Windham, 7 grandchildren, sister Donna (Jim Martin) Bacon of Ravenna, brother Thomas J. (Rene) Lamp of Rootstown and former husband and friend Jim Morehead of Brady Lake. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM Monday, June 15, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Chaplain Bill Wisniewski will lofficiate. Burial will follow in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406.
