Dennie Heiney 59 of Fairlawn passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born February 12, 1954 in Ravenna to the late Henry Harris and Oleta L. (Harris) Heiney. Dennie served with the US Navy. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed riding his Harley Davison. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Renee (Veldman) Heiney whom he married June 1, 1996, his daughter, Andrea Heiney of Akron, sons, Jared (Adrienne) Siegel of Lawton, OK, Dave (Ashley Keller) Siegel of Akron, a sister, Donna (Kevin King) Heiney of Ravenna, brothers, Roger Heiney, Jeff (Andrea) Heiney, and Chris Heiney all of Ravenna, grandchildren, Llogan Steiner, Dayson, Coulten, Kaleb, and Carter Siegel. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Tschantz, and brother, Ronald G. Heiney Sr. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel, 141 N. Meridian Street Ravenna. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dallas Sanford officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park following the service.
