Dennis F. "Poppy" Dunlap 75 of Rootstown Township went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 6, 2012. He was born October 5, 1936 in Paris, Ohio toFrederick and Ethel (Warwick) Dunlap. Mr. Dunlap was a US Air Force veteran and retired as a foreman from Podner Plastics in Kent. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Margaret (Mitchell), daughter Tina Dunlap, grandchildren Rashelle
Bowser, Noah Dunlap, Daniel Dunlap and Kali Crober, great grandchildren Siah, Liberty, Nathan, Giavana, Jaqlyn, Guliana And Nikolus, sisters Diane Dunlap and Shirley Salvino. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jean Dunlap. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Monday, September 10, 2012 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Tuesday,
September 11, 2012 at the funeral home with Chaplain Dan Tayman officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown.
