Diane Ruth Mercer

Diane Ruth Mercer, 79 of Charlestown Township, passed away  Thursday April 13, 2023 at her daughters home in Charlestown Township.  She was born October 13, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George P. and Ruth A. (Drewlo) Michaels.  Ms. Mercer has lived in Charlestown Township since 1990 and retired from The Portage County Nursing and AKWA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Douglas Byrne and  siblings Nancy Dewreth and James Michaels.  Survivors include her daughters Cinthia A. (Tom) Seith, Maryann (David) McLean, her grandchildren David McLean, Jr., Corey Mercer, Anthony Byrne Miranda Seith, Andrew McLean, Matthew McLean and siblings George Michaels, Robert Michaels and Suzanne Michaels.  In honoring her wishes, private family services were held at Charlestown Township Cemetery.  Condolences and memories of Don may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
