Diane Smallwood

Diane Smallwood 50 of Ravenna passed away at her home Tuesday, January, 28, 2014. She was born October 15, 1963 in Ravenna. Diane enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, was an avid reader, loved watching Court TV, was the Jeopardy Quiz master, and animal lover.  She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Jami (Tricia Phillips) Smallwood of Cuyahoga Falls, Hali (David) West of Ravenna, son, Josh (Brandi) Smallwood of Ravenna, her mother, Maxine Steigerwalt of Ravenna, grandchildren, Taylor, Lillian, Jocelynn, sisters, Donnette Wheeler of Ellet, Debra (Jeff) Wagner of Shalersville, brothers, Don Gooch of Hartsville, SC, Larry Gooch of Ravenna, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Levon.  She was preceded in death by her fathers, Donald Gooch and Ben Steigerwalt.  Calling hours will be held from 6- 8 PM Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. A Private Graveside service will be held in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna at a later date.
