Dolores A. (Dargai) Moncheck

Dolores A. Moncheck 89 of Streetsboro passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday, October 28, 2021. She was born June 14, 1932 in Republic, PA to John and Mary (Sposop) Dargai. She and her late husband William moved to Ohio from Pennsylvania in 1960 and made Streetsboro their home and raised their family here. She enjoyed their yearly fishing trips to Canada with family and friends. Time with her family was most important to her. Dolores was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Survivors include her daughters Debbie (Bill) McLeod-Hager, Cindy (Steve) Pritt, and daughter-in-law Sandy Moncheck, 7 grandchildren (who were the light of her life), 3 great grandchildren and siblings John Dargai, Bill Dargai and Joyce Gera. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William E. Sr., son William Moncheck, Jr., and sister Lorraine Maxim. Calling hours will be from 4 - 7 PM Monday, November 1, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff, nurses and all the care givers at The Gardens at Liberty Park for all the love, attention, and care they gave her.
