Dolores (Hines) Kosarek

Dolores Kosarek 81 of Streetsboro passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. She was born August 12, 1934 in Donora, PA  to Charles and Ellen (Baker) Hines. She was the owner of Calico Cottage in Streetsboro from 1984 to 2003, served as a Girl Scout Leader for 20 years and was President of the Streetsboro Quilting Guild. Survivors include her daughters Valeria Bennett of Dillsburg, PA and Karen Kosarek of Streetsboro, son John S. Kosarek of Hudson and a granddaughter Carrie Elizabeth Landis of PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John J. in 2004, son in law Robert Bennett, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Private calling hours and services for family and friends will be held with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. In lieu of flowers memorials to Senior Independence Hospice, 1815 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio, 44313. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
