Dolores Ann (Lewis) Martin

Dolores Ann "Dodi" Martin 78 of Paris Twp. passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at her daughter Christi's residence in Ravenna surrounded by her family.  She was born  January 28, 1936 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Robert Lee and Frances Pearl (Phillips) Lewis.  She was a member of the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Ravenna and had retired from General Electric in Ravenna, where she worked as a utility operator.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert T. Martin, Jr. on December 23, 2013 and brother Jessie Lewis.  Survivors include  her children Christi (Gene) Brown of Ravenna, Stacy N. Davis of Youngstown, Steven C. (Michelle) Davis of Akron, Danny L. Davis of Ravenna, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.   Also surviving are her siblings Frances Gillison of Ravenna, Laura (Donald) Loftin of Fayetville NC, Robert (Gloria) Lewis of VA and John (Stephanie) Lewis of CA.  Calling hours will be  Saturday May 17, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon at the  First Church of God  on New Milford Rd. with Rev. BJ Grant Officiating.  Burial will take place on Monday 10:45 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery Rittman, Ohio.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www. sscfuneralhomes.com.  Funeral services were entrusted  to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
