Dolores Ann (Reed) Mathena

D. Ann Mathena entered her eternal rest on Friday July 24, 2015 where she is now talking with Jesus Face to Face.  She was born June 22, 1935 in Stow, Ohio to the late William and Dolores (Yannayon) Reed.  Ann enjoyed spending time in her rose garden and very much loved to talk to anyone about Jesus.  She has lived most of her life in Kent and was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.  Survivors include her husband Glen C. Mathena whom she married July 27, 1952, her children, Lisa of Kent,  Larry of Colorado, Steve of Florida, Dave of Kent, Scott of Florida, nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and sisters Becky, Sue and Edna.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death one sister and four brothers.  Calling hours will be 2-4 PM Sunday August 2, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel and on Monday August 3, 2015 from 10:00 AM until  time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at Ravenna Assembly of God Church.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Ann may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
