Donald P. Bica

Donald P. Bica, 74, of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his home.   He was born July 12, 1944 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Michael and Rosemary (Cosentino) Bica.  Being a lifelong Ravenna resident,  Mr. Bica was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, a Boy Scout leader for many years,  a veteran of the US Navy and after  37 years he retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg.  Survivors include his wife Jean E. (Grinnell) Bica whom he married March 18, 1972, his children Paul T. Bica, Shelly (Paul) Havlovic, Linda (David) Smail,  Scott Myers, his grandchildren Miranda Bica, Chelsea Tenney, Brooke Tenney, Scott Myers, Justin Hurst, Kevin Myers, two great grandchildren and brothers Michael (Norma Dustman)  Bica and Joe (Joanne) Bica.  Calling hours will be from  2-5 PM Sunday,  December 30, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, December 31, 2018 at Immaculate  Conception Church  Ravenna, Ohio with Father William Kraynak officiating.  Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Don may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
