Donald James Clare

Donald J. Clare, age 55 of Rootstown, went on his final road trip on October 16, 2017. Don was born on February 23, 1962 in San Bernardino, CA to Franklin and Lucille Clare. Don was an avid motorcycle enthuist, he enjoyed road trips on his Harley, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Gail and by their sons; Joshua and Gabriel Slama. His memory is also cherished by his mother, Lucille Provencher, and by many friends. Don was preceded in death by his father, and by his infant daughter, Allison. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. As per Don's wish, a cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be held on Friday,  October 20, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes' Ravenna Chapel from 5-8PM.
